Pick a topic below OR choose a theme from your Chapter 7 warm-ups. Now write a 100-word composition with an appropriate title arranged in logical paragraphs. (Note: If you choose from the warm-ups, do not do a business card. 1. It’s your 10-year class reunion with your class from Pin Oak and all of the members of German class have happily found each other! What questions do you have for one another? Describe how you look now, what you do professionally, and what caliber of professional you are. Describe how two of your classmates look now (one male, one female), what they do professionally, and what caliber of professionals they are. As much as possible, place adjectives (with their appropriate endings) before the nouns.
2. When you see your blind date for the first time you can’t believe your eyes! Is s/he the best or the worst thing you’ve ever seen? Describe in detail what s/he has on (with colors). Take a guess at the cost of his/her clothing. Then tell what the person was like, personality-wise, now that the date is over. What’s his/her future profession based on what you know about him/her now? As much as possible, place adjectives (with their appropriate endings) before the nouns.
3. In writing, ask your boss for a raise, explaining how valuable you are to the company and mentioning all your good qualities, reminding him/her of the bad qualities of some of your co-workers. As much as possible, place adjectives (with their appropriate endings) before the nouns.
